i'm not sure how to describe myself in a few bite-size paragraphs, because honestly, how can you describe yourself in a short amount of words?

i'm a writer. (obviously ;p) even though i can never finish a project... one day! even though i never have enough time on my hands to write. currently working a full-time job and hoping to get my own place in the near future! 

i'm obsessed with anything spooky and dark. halloween is (fittingly) my favorite holiday, and autumn is my favorite season. 99% of my wardrobe is black, and i listen primarily to 80's goth music (but also musical theatre and classical music). i want a black cat one day, and am in love with anything spooky and witchy.

i'm an infp, which basically means i'm a crazy manic pixie dream person :) i like to try and brighten other peoples' lives as much as i can! i aspire to be as much of a ray of sunshine as i possibly can be.

i'm an avid reader. i collect anything desk supplies. i'm obsessed with harry potter (even though jk rowling is not a wonderful person... i choose to separate the work from the creator), the selection, the inheritance cycle, the mortal instruments, the lunar chronicles... i'm also very obsessed with pizza. i'm incredibly passionate about music and i play fifteen instruments! 

i love writing in lowercase letters. i love making new friends, even though i'll probably be more than a bit socially awkward and talk your ear off about something random until you tell me to shut up. i like to think i'm half cat; find me a good patch of sunshine and i'm set. i'm currently 21 years old. and lastly... i'm a blogger! surprise :)

Hello there! This is my first post on a new blog- the beginning of an epic adventure. back from the dead // some life updates, the future of this blog, and new projects

*rises from the dead* Well. I'm alive! It's only been... *checks calendar* oh, you know... almost six years since I updated my blog. Oops. life updates Where to start? My last update was on the cusp of the beginning of my sophomore year, and boy oh boy did a LOT of stuff change. Sophomore year was hectic and quite honestly... I don't remember most of it. As far as junior year goes, I was part of my high school's production of Newsies in November, entered a relationship in January 2019, got voted for prom court... then that relationship turned incredibly toxic and I blanked out for a solid four months at the end of it.  I don't remember most of my senior year, unfortunately.  I broke up with that person in December 2019, started dating someone else in February 2020... dear sophomore year (and a few ramblings and apologies)

So let me start off by saying, I am so sorry  for not updating my blog all summer. I finished my freshman year, then had a crazy busy summer, and now it's back to school this Friday. Anyway, with it being a new school year, I'm deciding to freshen up the overall appearance of the blog, as well as try to update every week.
