A Little August Wrap-Up

So it's already August 31st?!! Wow.  That's kinda crazy. And school starts tomorrow?!?!?!? WHAT. Oh my gosh. Anyway.

This month has been interesting so far. I babysat, I went to color guard practices, I read, I wrote, I rearranged ALLLLLL the books, I redid my bedroom, and a lot of other stuff. xD

So. Writing. I kinda had to tuck away the thing I was previously working on, and I decided to start fresh with a new project. it's actually turning out pretty well!

I read. A lot. Not just in August, but all summer.  I reread the Harry Potter books (I try to do that every summer), I (finally) read THE CROWN by Kiera Cass (and it was AMAZING, you guys.), I reread DREAMERS OFTEN LIE (multiple times, too xD) by the lovely Jacqueline West (who's also a pretty great friend!!!), and a ton of other books. xD

So August was a lot of fun, but also kinda flew by in the blink of an eye... Gosh, that was crazy.

back from the dead // some life updates, the future of this blog, and new projects

*rises from the dead* Well. I'm alive! It's only been... *checks calendar* oh, you know... almost six years since I updated my blog. Oops. life updates Where to start? My last update was on the cusp of the beginning of my sophomore year, and boy oh boy did a LOT of stuff change. Sophomore year was hectic and quite honestly... I don't remember most of it. As far as junior year goes, I was part of my high school's production of Newsies in November, entered a relationship in January 2019, got voted for prom court... then that relationship turned incredibly toxic and I blanked out for a solid four months at the end of it.  I don't remember most of my senior year, unfortunately.  I broke up with that person in December 2019, started dating someone else in February 2020... And then the pandemic hit. I somehow graduated high school, went to college for a semester and then moved back home. ALLLLLLLLLLLLL the writing/bookish things!

So. In case you haven't read my older posts yet, or if you're new, I'm kind of writing a book?! It's crazy and awesome and just GAH all at the same time. But I love it. SO MUCH. So I've already started a Google Form for a beta reader sign-up. If you're interested, please sign up! *NOTE* It will  be a little while before I start sending it out to people.
